Why RotaRail
RotaRail is a completely unique articulated arm that allows the fitting of an additional safety rail to existing truck and trailer side guard systems known as “Lateral Protection Devices” (LPD’s). This unique articulation allows a safety rail to be fitted much closer to the ground offering far superior safety margins to both pedestrians and vulnerable road users. Our unique articulated arm reduces the risk of injury or fatality to pedestrians and other vulnerable road users when they come into close proximity with road going transport vehicles (HGV’s).

RotaRail® helps prevent injury to pedestrians and cyclists by greatly restricting the access between the front and rear wheels of road-going transport vehicles.
Our product is unique worldwide and allows an additional safety rail to be fitted much closer to the ground than existing lateral protection devices, thus giving greater safety protection.

Our product has been tested extensively by TRL UK (Transport Research Laboratory) and meets current safety standards worldwide and complies with the current UN/ECE Regulation No. 73 which governs the standard for LPD’s.
